Coloring and Caterpillars

Reilly is learning to read...spell...and draw very well.  A few of his recent accomplishments done all on his own! 

 

Reilly's new bug jar is being put to use...these poor little guys have been captured and kept hostage for a week...occasionally neglected and underfed these caterpillars may be very lucky to be moths next spring!

First Day of Pre-School

Another round of pre-school...another year at home with Mom...another challenge to keep him entertained...another prayer uttered for patience...another chance to teach him everything I want him to know before going out into the world...another reason to enjoy every moment!!!

 

I love my busy boy...back to weekly routine is nice...and back to the reading book.  We took a break over summer...I was so amazed how he remembered everything I taught him and picked up where we left off with no problem!. Lesson 72 out of 100...keep up the good work Reilly!

I asked Reilly what he would like for his Birthday Supper...his reply...
"Ice Cream...for dessert...Hot Dogs, Cheese Sticks, Chips, Milk and Pop!"



 

He was thrilled to know he did have one present to open!

 

Fish On...Let's Party!

Three long days Reilly had to wait to open all of his Birthday Presents...but I think it was worth the wait...he was so exited to get what he wished for...

Happy 5th Birthday Reilly!

One of the sweetest things about welcoming a new baby boy is learning how we fit

together...The way his sleepy weight fills our arms so perfectly and how that place where neck and shoulder meet suddenly

seems made for him to snuggle his head into.

But even more than that, it's discovering just how beautifully he fits into our life-

how there was always a place right in the heart of our family just waiting for this

precious boy to come and fill it with so much love!

 

Five years ago today at 11:03 am Kent and I became parents to our sweet little Reilly.

We are so thankful for our Sweetie-Pie! We love you Reilly and are so thankful for the past 5 wonderful years!
