12|24|14 Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve

We spent the day at Papa and Grandma Sweetie Pie's.

Santa in training...checking his phone for wish list updates!
Excited to tear open their presents....

 Six, very energetic grandkids!

My handsome...buried in a (history) book!
Our Sweet Reilly didn't make a wish list this year (which I think I mentioned in a previous post).
When Santa, the Orthopedic Dr., and our piano tuner asked him what he wanted this was his response...
"Some people think that Christmas is all about the presents...but I don't...It's all about Giving.
So I'll be happy with whatever I get."
It warmed my heart to hear him say that!
We have been listening to a lot of Christmas music and so many of those songs remind us
of the true meaning of Christmas.  Without God's gift of His Son we would have no Christmas!
Thank you God for teaching us how to give!
Reilly was thrilled when he opened his first gift! He has eyed these marble rollers for a long time.

Sarina and her new baby "Little Jenn"! She loved her instantly.
Yep...that's Andrew...Love's the great outdoors!
I got some of the softest pajamas...and Kent got another history book!

Sarina playing Christmas Carols on the piano with A. Laurel
I'm so thankful we were all healthy and able to be together this year at Christmas.
Always fun times at Grandpa and Grandma's!
Merry Christmas Eve.

12|15|14 Christmas Continues...

School Christmas Program

I love how Reilly is smirking at me in this picture!
He sang his heart out and did a fabulous job at being Alvin for their chipmunk song.
He couldn't think of anything to wish for!!!
Yep, he never gave me a list this year.  Hope he's excited on Christmas day!

Messy Muffins

These two are my kitchen sidekicks.  They get their love of cooking from their Dad.
I usually allow one helper at a time to keep the kitchen from being a disaster...but tonight I decided to let them have at it and get messy!
And they did.
I put Reilly in charge of the muffins.  He loves to crack the eggs and measure everything out on his own.
Using the tongue makes the siring go a lot smother!
Showing off the cast one last time...he gets it off 12/16!!!
And the Puddle...doing what she does best! Making PUDDLES!
Washing dishes at this age is soooo much fun! Not a whole lot of washing gets done....
just playing in the suds.  She is singing wash, wash as she goes!
Hmmmm...if they keep this up I'll soon get kicked out of the kitchen RIGHT?
Reilly's muffins were delicious...and the dishes...well, they went through the dishwasher!!!

12|9|14 Puddles & A little Christmas

Our sweet little girl (aka Puddles) makes me laugh every day!
Here she is in the middle of the day (still in her jammies) and having a snack.
She rolls in her cozy blankets to get this dazzling hairdo and prefers to have it a mess instead  of styled by Mom.
I found this scene under the Christmas tree the other day...so I decided I should ask Sarina what was going on! She said that they (meaning the 3 wisemen, Mary and Joseph) were getting out of the way so they wouldn't get hit by the train! Very creative. She's always coming up with something funny.
And then here she is today! She came up to me and said "I'm all ready to go to school"! Sniff, Sniff...
She just can't wait to get out of the house.  Stop growing up so fast!!!!!!!

I had to post this picture of Uncle Andrew and Reilly.
Last, my cute little snowman Cheeseball! I had fun making this for a family Christmas...And it was delicious!

11|29|14 Thanksgiving & Wiegand Christmas

Thanksgiving

Laurel hosted our family for Thanksgiving.  Delicious meal...relaxing afternoon...good company!
I didn't get many good pictures but I thought I'd share this one...

These two girlies thought they were pretty good at sitting on the same chair.
We are so Blessed...Thanking God for our many Blessings!

Christmas

This year Brad and Dee came home for Christmas at Thanksgiving!
First we celebrated birthdays...
Reilly was so excited for Kenzie to come and visit!
He wanted to make her a very special Birthday present and wrap it in a box.
After searching on Pinterest for a long time he chose to paint her a snowman on a canvas.
And there it is...Great work Reilly! (Poor little guy was not feeling well this weekend :( you can see it in his eyes)
And these three will have warm ears this winter!
Saturday we had our Family Christmas...10 bubbly grandkids ready to open presents!
Pleased little Puddles with her doll car seat!

 Reilly...ready to go camping!
Puddles with her cozy slippers and bubble bath that she carried around with her all evening!
She even asked if she could sleep with it...what a goof.  First thing she said Sunday morning was "can I have a bubble bath"???
Reilly with new Christmas Stories!
 stylin'!
Just what he wished for!!! We will have a busy little boy this winter (I hope)!
Early Merry Christmas to everyone!
