Cousins

Laurel and I swapped kids last week so these cousins could play together!
I had the girlies!
We enjoyed the afternoon at the pool!

In the morning we made picture frame crafts...
so they now have a memory to keep from the fun day we had!
That same evening Reilly's baseball game got canceled because the field was too wet...
So we decided to go fishing.
On the way to the lake we picked up a few cousins!
When we got there a storm was rolling in...the clouds were so cool!

  Lainey caught the first fish!
Reilly relaxing in the docked boat.
Awesome Daddy and Uncle to take these busy kiddos fishing!
 Swinging with my fishing buddy.
After the storm went through we got to see TWO rainbows!

And there you have it...We found the pot of gold!!!
Later on Grandpa and Grandma came and we hung out in the cabin instead of swatting the bugs!
It was a fun night and we hope to do it again this summer!

Celebrating our Dads Saturday and Sunday!!
Love you Babe! You're an awesome Dad to our kiddos!

Sunday evening at Grandpa and Grandma Sweetie-Pie's the kids had fun playing baseball with their Dad, cousins and uncles!

This would be the lively fans!
With my Daddy and siblings! So thankful for such an awesome man I get to call my Daddy!
I love you!

Baseball

Baseball

Reilly has had a great time learning to play baseball on his Mariner's Team...

He's gotten a few home runs and participated in some really good plays.
And there he goes across home plate!
Keep up the good sportsmanship you have Reilly!
Have fun and PLAY BALL!

Sunday School Party

Pizza Party

Kent and Adam taught Reilly's Sunday School class this year.  To finish off their great year
together we had them all for a Pizza Party!

And a fun game of kick ball!

 Everyday Life

We have had a great start to our summer with the Library's Summer Reading Program.
Both kids love to read especially on the front porch!

Perfect end to an awesome weekend!

Memorial Day Weekend...Daddy's Birthday

We packed this weekend full with the outdoors at Schieber's Cabin!
Saturday evening Kent grilled up some delicious pork loin while Jenny, Angie and I worked on the rest of the meal!  The kids decided it was hot enough to get in the freezing cold water with their clothes on! Boys will be boys.

The Dads and boys caught some huge catfish so they cut them up to grill Sunday night for supper!

Sunday night we changed the menu on Jenny and added the catfish...fried or smoked...and hot dogs/brats for those who didn't take to liking the fish!

 Supper's READY!!!
 The hungry line up!
Hope you don't go home hungry!
Mike, Amber and the kids joined us Sunday night!

 Kids...playing hard!

We spent the night at the cabin cozy in our tent.  The weather was perfect for camping!
In the morning they guys cooked us up a delicious breakfast.
We spend most of our time and thoughts on the food during these fun weekends! (in case you haven't noticed!)
We all had a blast! Thankful for another safe Memorial Day weekend! We have so much
to be thankful for!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Daddy's birthday was on Memorial Day this year.  We finished our fun at the cabin early afternoon and came home to get a few chores done.  Sarina made it through the shower before she crashed in the sunroom.  Reilly didn't make it through the shower before he crashed on the floor right inside the door.  They were busy kiddos and were completely warn out!
We let them sleep for a few hours before we woke them up to watch Daddy open his presents.
The kids were so excited....let the pictures show you that!
Reilly drew some birds for Daddy and here he is explaining the variety to him.
Such an awesome Dad and his favorite kids!

His 33rd birthday present...6 Sugar Cookies from Potbellies!  One of his favorite cookies!
 Mmmm...Dat....gooooood!
Then off to Biaggi's for supper and Culver's for dessert! Daddy had a blast of a birthday!...and we got to enjoy every minute of it with him too!!! Lovin' these long spring days!
Many more happy birthday's my Love!
