The Kent Wiegand Family Christmas

We all camped out by the fire the night before Christmas Eve...
beginning traditions in our little family...this is one of them that we have

done for the last 2 years.  Reilly is now remembering from year to year...

"Are we going to sleep by the fire again the night before we open our presents?"

He was very excited to be tucked in on the couch!

 

Daddy, Puddles and Reilly hanging out on the mattress we hauled out of our room...

sleeping by the fire is just like sleeping in our own bed!!!

 

 

 

And a few excited kiddos can't wait until the morning to open their presents!

 

 

To all a good night!

 

And then it was Christmas Eve morning...

The kids slept really well for not being in their own beds...Reilly did wake up at 5am and asked Daddy if it was day time yet...

"No, Son...go back to sleep"!!!

Their conversation woke me up and reminded me that I still needed to fill their stockings.

Last year Reilly woke up and noticed his stocking was empty and he began doubting Santa!

So I wasn't going to botch it this year! Whew...he fell back asleep and I got the stockings stuffed!!!!!!

 

Kids look so cute with their bed head and bags under their eyes:)

 Sarina was very exited to feed her baby in a highchair and have a sweeper just like Mommy's.
She begs me to get my sweeper out every day! I'm not that much of a neat freak!



 

Every morning Sarina begs for her JUICE! She didn't want anything to do with her presents

until she had her two sippy cups of JUICE...she is begging Daddy in the picture...it was really funny...

she would bang on his shoulder...then on his knee...get right in his face and shout JUICE!

 

Camera's for the kids! They were thrilled...two future photographers!

 

 

And that's our little Christmas! Kent and I are so thankful for our two healthy kiddos...

Merry Christmas Reilly and Sarina! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

12 Days of Christmas

These are Kent's 12 Days of Christmas for 2013!

Love him so much!

On the FIRST Day of Christmas...my 1 Year Old gave to Daddy...card

with a poem...and UNO!

 

On the SECOND Day of Christmas...my True Love got from me...

It's UP TWO You how much you love me!

On the THIRD Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...Wine...

(hope it's good...and I think it says TRIO on it in a different language!?)

On the FOURTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...
4 pairs of new underwear!  Not the most fun gift!

On the FIFTH Day of Christmas my 5 Year Old gave to Daddy...
Thank You God card...and 5 Gum!

 

On the SIXTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

6 bottles of CANDY!

If you look closely this picture was taken after the middle bottled was tasted...

On the SEVENTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

A bottle of 7UP! He loves to use this when he is grilling meat!

Delicious meal from my Hubby commin' up!

 On the EIGHTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

8 FRESH Casey's Cake Donuts and some Coffee...(Served in Bed)

This was my favorite day...I was so pumped to surprise him early

in the morning and get these to him before he woke up...

BUT...at 4:45am my phone rings...It's the Casey's in Deer Creek..

"Our donut machine stopped working...would you like yeast donuts instead?"

Well, Cake are his favorite so I decided to check with Eureka

Casey's...5:30am I call up to Eureka...they just started their

machine...ready in 30 minutes!!!! 6:00am...going 45mph slipping and

sliding on the black ice I made it to Eureka and back by 7:00...and

here they are with a hot cup of coffee!

Crispy...warm...melt in your mouth...YUMMY!

I rounded up to a dozen with the last four being chocolate

frosted...(for me) 

 

On the NINTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

9oz. of mixed nuts!

On the TENTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

The Beers of the World...More bottle caps to add to his collection and I get the unique glass bottles!

 

On the ELEVENTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

11 John Denver records...

He's a big fan of his songs and has always hinted that it would be nice to have some of his records

someday...so here is a start to his collection!

(I had to get him a record player for Christmas...

so he had a way to listen to them)

I must have forgotten to get a before Picture...so here's the after:)

 

And last of all on the TWELTH Day of Christmas my True Love got from me...

a 12 month subscription to a magazine of his choice!

Christmas Time

We have another Chocolate lover in the house...I was making buckeyes to take to Reilly's
Sunday School Christmas Program...while I had my back turned Puddles
 helped herself to licking the spoon.  She is our little Sugar Baby...loves sweets and loves
to sing...her latest are kit kats...kikkak...as she calls them! When you hand one to her
she starts a little jig of dancing and clapping her hands...her mouth is probably watering
too! The Christmas Carols have been continually playing here...
Sarina will sing Jesus Loves Me and now adds Noel...
NOWAAANOWAAA...and as I type she is singing Jingle Bells...Jingowa!

Last week after putting Sarina to bed early...7:30...Reilly and I tackled the mound of sugar cookie dough that I had mixed up the night before...He was a great help...he rolled the dough and cut out most of the cookies while I baked them! Double batch of cookies...baked in 1 hour!

Carmel Apple Cream Cheese Dip...for neighbors and Christmas Party hostess gifts...

They are super easy and pretty sure most everyone would love them!

 

 

December craft day with friends!!! It was a fun day of trees! Burlap, Paper and Lace...

 

 

They add a rustic Christmas look to my piano!

 

 

Grandma Sweetie-Pie and Papa's Christmas card...all the kids counted 5 of their blessings

and marked them on the chalkboard...can you guess where Puddle's made her marks???

 

Uncle Andrew...They Love Him Loads!

 

 The advent calendar is well liked at this house...every morning is exciting...with a verse

 from the Christmas story and a little extra surprise...we start the day with cheer!

 

And last but not least....the 12 days of Christmas start this Saturday. 

I did this last year for Kent...he was very surprised...and also thrilled that I took so much

 time to plan a gift for every day! I told him that if I did it again it wouldn't be a

surprise...But, by the look on his face and his comment..."I really liked it" (with puppy dog

 eyes) I thought I'd try it again...everything is different from last year too...took a while to get

 12 ideas...hope he enjoys it as much as last year!
