Memorial Day Weekend...Daddy's Birthday

We packed this weekend full with the outdoors at Schieber's Cabin!

Saturday evening Kent grilled up some delicious pork loin while Jenny, Angie and I worked on the rest of the meal!  The kids decided it was hot enough to get in the freezing cold water with their clothes on! Boys will be boys.

 The Dads and boys caught some huge catfish so they cut them up to grill Sunday night for supper!

 Sunday night we changed the menu on Jenny and added the catfish...fried or smoked...and hot dogs/brats for those who didn't take to liking the fish!

 We spent the night at the cabin cozy in our tent.  The weather was perfect for camping!
In the morning they guys cooked us up a delicious breakfast.
We spend most of our time and thoughts on the food during these fun weekends! (in case you haven't noticed!)

We all had a blast! Thankful for another safe Memorial Day weekend! We have so much

to be thankful for!

Happy Birthday Daddy 

Daddy's birthday was on Memorial Day this year.  We finished our fun at the cabin early afternoon and came home to get a few chores done.  Sarina made it through the shower before she crashed in the sunroom.  Reilly didn't make it through the shower before he crashed on the floor right inside the door.  They were busy kiddos and were completely warn out!

We let them sleep for a few hours before we woke them up to watch Daddy open his presents.

The kids were so excited....let the pictures show you that!

 His 33rd birthday present...6 Sugar Cookies from Potbellies!  One of his favorite cookies!

Then off to Biaggi's for supper and Culver's for dessert! Daddy had a blast of a birthday!...and we got to enjoy every minute of it with him too!!! Lovin' these long spring days!

Goodbye 3rd Grade...

HELLO SUMMER BREAK!!!!

Where did the time go???

Didn't you just start 3rd Grade? 

When Reilly got home today (last day of school) he told me he already misses Mrs. Martin!

Thanks for being such an awesome teacher!

 Reilly was blessed with a great year and a healthy one!

 First and last day of 3rd Grade! Lost a few teeth, burned through 2 pairs of tennis shoes is way smarter!!! Awesome Job Reilly! Looking forward to a fun summer together!!!

 

Where are you SUMMER???

We have been to the Schieber cabin a few times this spring already! It's always fun times...and never complete until the kids are filthy and ice cream is rolling down their chins!!!

Looking forward to more fun evenings there!

  Sarina was a good helper the last few weeks when Daddy was busy getting the pool ready!

  The kids thought it was pretty cool to go swimming in the deep end while it was filling up...a little chilly down their kiddos????

 

The neighbor's cat Maria, had 4 kittens...and boy are they fun to play with!

Hopefully the rain stops soon and we can get outside again!!! We can't wait to live in Summer!!!

Mother's Day

We had a great time at the Ladies Luncheon the Saturday before Mother's Day!

I'm so thankful to have these wonderful Ladies in my life! 

On Sunday morning, Daddy and the kids made me an awesome breakfast!

I felt so pampered and the food was so good I felt like I was in the Bahamas again!

 (Eek I can't believe I haven't posted those pictures yet!!)

I felt so loved! My favorite breakfast with fresh berries!!

 I feel so blessed to have these two call me Mommy! They are the best kids ever...

Reilly could use some sun glasses!!! 

 We had a beautiful day and spent the afternoon at the pool and then at Benjamin and Laurel's.

 Oh my word!!!! Andrew!!! Where are you???...you should have been in this picture! Can't believe you didn't jump in!!! Next time we are together you're getting in!

Hiking in the Flowers

A few weeks ago, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we went to the timber to find some wild flowers. 

We found some blue bells!

 And we found these yellow ones too.  

 A bright, sunny day!

 Before we hiked back to the van Reilly wanted to lay down in the tall grass. 

They gave us the thumbs up to a great hike. 

 Grandparents Day

May day Reilly was in the May Pole and celebrated Grandparents day at school.

He was thrilled to have them come see him perform and see his classroom.

Field Trip

Sarina's preschool class enjoyed a beautiful day at the Zoo last Tuesday.

They are all growing up so fast and will do great this fall in Kindergarten.  

We missed having Lilly with us.  Madison's siblings got to join us for the day!

Last but not least I am thoroughly enjoying all of the flowers that come to my door! 

They are all clumped together in the sweetest little hands begging for water! 

They make us all smile!
